(First, sorry if this is double posted. No messages get through to the
newsgroups from the previous address I was using. They get stuck in Yahoo
for some reason.)

We have Firebird 1.0 installed on our Dev server but locally on our
workstations we have IB 6. Should I update the local gds32.dll to Firebird's
so that the local client will be able to access both? This won't mess up the
local IB will it? We will probably change to Firebird all around eventually
but want to test it well first.

We use WinNT 2000, Delphi 5, and IBX components.
