Martijn,
Have you tried MS SQL DTS with getting data into and out of InterBase/FB
using ODBC ?
I have and it works real good....

Question to Martijn Tonies

I personally liked Interbase Workbench very much. If the project I am
working on
brings good results on replacing Access with Firebird, we may purchase a
copy. But I
didn't find features like DTS in SQL Server (import and export of data from
different data sources). If data import tool could be integrated (from
sources like
SQL Server, Access, text file, CSV etc just to mention a few), this would
have been
very productive tool. SQL2GDB simply doesn't do conversions well. I have a
big
database and it halted in the middle producing some error.

Besides, I saw a kind of bug: when you expand one item (i don't remember
exactly),
it goes on expanding recursively.
