I believe FIBPlus has the facility to manipulate table names in sql
text via macros, and I'm sure IBObjects must has something very
similar (sorry, I've yet to user either, but others here are experts
with both). Of course this does not help you if you are stuck with
your current IB access component, but at least you know it can be
done.
