Subject RE: [ib-support] how the server handles load balancing ??

From my experience on a Win2k machine, each connection gets a equal share of
the processor.
So if a query takes 2 mins to run by itself, it will take approx 4 min to
run with 2 connections running this same query.

How does the FB server do it's load balancing? (Cannot find anything
in the docs or online searches.)

Does the server treat all connections equally? If three clients run
the same intensive query do they each basically have a third of the
server's processing resources?

Thanks.
