The bad news is that if you are using TTable and BDE, you are going to have
performance problems. Using the BDE and TTables means that all of the data
is transferred to the BDE buffers, and this you don't want. The best thing
you can do is to dump the BDE and try IB Express or IB Objects
(www.ibobjects.com) for better performance.

Second thing I noticed is that you referenced creating all the forms, one
suggestion DON'T, create them as needed and destroyed when not needed, if
you already do this then disregard. This helps to reduce the consumption
of computer resources and memory. If both the application and server are
running on the same computer, this might be a good starting point to remedy
the problem, and to change the connectivity components.

I didn't have that much problems to convert from BDE to IB Objects, it went
relatively smoothly.
