The setup program (for our application) will check if IB (or FireBird)
is already installed. If neither are installed, it will install
Firebird. However if IB or FB were detected, it will not install
Firebird in any way.
The setup program will still install the application even if it does not
install FireBird.
The application uses dialect 1. So it should work with either IB (5 or
6) or Firebird. Hopefully this will cover most circumstances encountered.
