I don't know what OS you're using, but Microsoft and probably all of them
have a TCP/IP timeout

Is it normal an isql's session fall down if it is
left unused by an amount of time?

I'm asking because I realize that my connection daemon,
written in ESQL/C, is "defuncting" if the client application
is left without use.
