concerned. It needs the C runtime library. I don't know what changes MS
makes to this library, but I don't believe Firebird makes any particular
assumptions about it. It needs to be there, but an old one will probably
work. That said, we should probably change the Firebird install to just
go ahead and overwrite an older version. I must admit that the question
always throws me when I run installs.
