The only error on the server event log is something to the effect that the
server forced an election on the server. The service has started and seems
fine.
Thanks,
Dion.

What is the server log saying when this happens?
Martijn Tonies
InterBase Workbench - the developer tool for InterBase and Firebird

Hi,
What must I configure on the server in order to circumvent the following
error:-
'No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused
it'.
I am running FB RC 2 on NT 4 as a service. When I down the server, and start
it up again, I can connect. At some point (not sure exactly when) but while
2 or 3 users are updating, the client apps freeze. Restarting the client
apps has not effect.
Any ideas?
