IMHO Odbc still adds a layer on top of native drivers. Have a look
at www.sql-direct.com. It supports, natively, IB/FB
Mssql/oracle/DB2/INFORMIX/ODBC/POSTGRESQL ... Support is
fast & accurate...
and the product is improving all the time.
