The netBEUI syntax for IB/FB is:
\\server\disk:\full_path_in_the_server\db.gdb
Probably your Win9x machine joined the domain. Forget the domain for now,
unless your server is really in another domain (and never have tried that).
You should try
\\BSP\D:\Delphi\Test\demo.gdb
