Subject Re: [ib-support] how do you debug triggers and SPs ?
Author Martijn Tonies
There are several tools out there that claim to be able to debug stored
procedures and triggers (InterBase Workbench isn't one of them). Craig
Stuntz reported some time ago that he thought that IBAdmin3 worked best
www.sqlly.com ).

The problem with IB is that it doesn't have any debugging hooks - the tools
try to emulate the IB/FB behaviour. And I believe Claudio once said that
this can be very tricky :) ... The tools have to handle both the errors in
IB and the errors in the tools... None of them seem to be perfect (yet). And
I heard that this one ( http://www.in-forms.co.za/ifsdownload.htm ) works
very fine too...

All in all, it isn't just that easy ...
