Is paper wholesale company sailing more than 50 000 tonns of paper in
a year large enough to be mentioned there? Western European paper
wholesalers are much heavier. If so I can say Bereg Ltd,
Saint-Petersburg, Russia, use IB from 1997 and FB from 01.01.2001 to
carry database about 2.5Gb with 600 tables (size and tables for
current moment) for MRP system (summary volume of 5 .exe is about
36Mb) designed by own forces. We have about 20 simultaneously active
users and approximately the same amount of "lurkers" from our branch
offices on territory of ex-USSR. We had and have not serious problems,
have opinion FB progresses faster than IB progressed in Borland and
think the same will be in the future.
