Claudio,

Yes. The application is Component Information
System used internally in Nokia. In -95 I chose
Delphi as the tool for developing the next generation
and IB came bundled with Delphi 1 kit.
In the beginning I used IB for getting quickly first
prototypes up and running but quite soon I became
convinced that IB is just the right kind of database for
that particular application and I abandoned plans of
switching over to Oracle at later stages. Now using
IB5.6 and there are plans to move over to IB6 or FB,
choice is still open.
