At least with SS on Windoze and local access implemented through memory
mapped files and a hack to put them under the Y-valve, you should rule out
true local access for more than one application or combined local and remote
access.

I use a couple of local connections often, but I'm testing and doing simple
commands, not trying to run real-life applications.
