RC2 Super doesn't work on RedHat 6.2 (all utilities (isql, ibmgr) looking for GLIBC 2.2)
When I am saying "nested select" I don't mean few selects in one SQL statement.
I mean the case when we prepare (isc_sql_prepare) simple select (like "select * from <table>") after first fetch of result set from top level select (simple also).

Alarm bells rang when you mentioned "nested selects", since Firebird doesn't support them. I'm more at home with SQL and I haven't seen an SQL statement yet. Possibly in this list we can get to the crux of the problem if we have a statement to look at...albeit you haven't reported that your statement doesn't work.

I thought if we use SS (like in my case) then the cache is on the server side.
But with the bug I describe memory grows on client side.
Am I wrong?

Basically, if this was an API bug, we would surely know about it already, since all applications (except embedded SQL) work through the API and here we are all application developers. So I'm saying if you want to get resolution, you need to close some gaps in the information you provided.
