Yes my script comp. uses the same transaction.
Just checked.
And I do not get any error messages.
It just commits.
And the Function is not there.
This is what stands un my scipts (Strings):
DECLARE EXTERNAL FUNCTION abs
DOUBLE PRECISION
RETURNS DOUBLE PRECISION BY VALUE
ENTRY_POINT 'IB_UDF_abs' MODULE_NAME 'ib_udf';
