There will be a v1.0 update (the name is still being discussed) which
will contain the Linux 64bit I/O issues. The update will be made
independent of the v1.5 release.

The changes have already been made to the v1.5 code base (I believe).

There is nothing wrong with Interbase,
that can't be fixed with Firebird.
