Unfortunately, you do have to disconnect then reconnect before running
the second script. Any time you touch an index and to be able to drop
the index, drop a related index(foreign key) or drop a table related to the
index, you need to disconnect then reconnect. I have to do
this if I'm dropping many foreign keys or tables containing foreign
keys.
