It's not encouraged. Lists work best when there are lots of eyes on a
problem - both "helper eyes" and "learner eyes". Those who take the time
to respond to problems do so with the purpose of pooling wisdom. One of
the really great things is how fast "learner eyes" become "helper eyes".

Nobody gets paid for monitoring the support list. However, many of us earn
our daily bread as consultants. When we post to the list, we do so with
the idea of "giving something back" to this wonderful community that has
taught us so much.
