On the test workstation the memory usage stays steady at 117,800K out of
331,800K. I'll have to have him check next time to see what portion of that
is Firebird's. CPU usage stays fairly level between 48% and 52%.

Amount of this that is IBServer.exe: 31,200K to 39,000K stays within this
range.

I/O Read bytes: 7,085,985,049 and climbing while stuck.
I/O Write bytes: 2,045,508,000 and climbing while stuck.

Once it is stalled you can't login to Firebird on that machine. He ends up
shutting down Firebird. No problems reconnecting after that.

This happens all the time for this process. It happens to all databases
we've tested it with that are greater than about 600 MB. Smaller ones run
fine.

Today we did a backup and restore. Then reran the app. Same results.
