I can confirm that I have had similar problems - messages from certain
people never showed up in some groups, just replies to what they had
written. And I think it varied from group to group - one person I could
read messages from in ib-support, but not in ibobjects (or vice versa, I
don't quite remember). Though I never thought it was a general problem with
atkin, just that it didn't like my machine.

Solution? Short of replacing your computer (or at least some kind of
reinstallation), using http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ib-support/ or setting
your options to send email, I haven't got a clue.
