I'll try to provide more info on my problems in future.

I have Firebird 1 (Beta2) on windows and Firebird 1 on linux.

This what I've done so far
1. Copied the database from windows over to linux and I can connect to
and work with it.
2. I can backup the database on linux.
3. Can't restore the database on linux.
4. I've done database validation and it didn't find any problems with
it.
5.I've recomputed the selectivity of all the indexes on table I was
getting errors on. And I still cannot restore the database on linux.
