Sorry for jumping in this discussion without having read the previous messages, but as far as I recall, there has been something that went from 32K to 64K not on the final (firebird 1.0 build 796), but in a sequent, interim build numbered 8xx (I don't recall exactly, nor I know a download site. I've encountered it doday surfing the web, but who can recall? sigh!))
I could be totally wrong, since I don't know the issue here nor the 32 to 36Kb fix there...
