with large backups you'll run out of disk space pretty quickly if you don't
recycle.
so just make 7 back files for Sunday thru Monday, schedule them nightly and
voila - you have seven backups a week. You can also schedule a restore once
a week to test the backups

and I don't know how to do that in a batch file, hence my initial
thoughts about writing a small program to call GBAK (and schedule the
small program).
