No - we try and stay out of religious wars. However, I'd recommend that
you limit your first choice to one of Mandrake, RedHat or SuSE. (That
list is in alphabetical order only.) These three companies are competing
with each other to make the best and easiest to use distribution. Each
of them has supporters in the Firebird project.

Any distribution that has been released in the last two or three years
should be able to run Firebird.
