I am working on a .net managed provider for firebird. At the moment I
have a very rough managed c++ dll that can be used fairly eaisly in c#
or vb.net. I can send you what I have so far if you are interested.
If you are interested in helping with the provider please let me know.

I will post a message on this group when I have an alpha version of
the managed provider. Or you can keep an eye on:
