Have you upgraded IB Express to the latest version(6.03)? By the way, the
version for IB Express doesn't match Delphi's version number. If you
didn't upgraded, you can get it at:

Also, have you tried upgrading to Firebird 1.0.0.796 (official version 1.0
release)?
