can the exe files be deployed...
this leads me to interpret that you think the database executables get
deployed as part of your application...
it's a server that you deploy... yes you can deploy the server to 2K and
XP - you can also deploy your exe to these OS's
you need either IBO or IBX or dbExpress components to talk to FB efficiently
which are all available in D5 as well as D6
there are no problems that I know of in either case
just don;t think of delpoying the server to Win98 - if you can do it don't
work with Win98 at all - not always possible
