Hi all
I have been tasked to do a fairly simple db
with zillions of records that contain sensitive
information. It is intended for commercial
distribution and we do not want the end users
(which we have no control over) getting in
through the back door.
I can control it quite well from my Delphi app
but anyone with a bit of FB knowledge could fish
under the hood and get at that data by using
other tools like IB Expert. Even changing the
SYSDBA password I assume is not safe as all you
do is re-install FB to get back to the masterkey
password.
Is there any form of encryption available
like you can do with Paradox tables?
Regards
