It did cross my mind at the time :-).

With all the hand coding, + reformatting the code [ Mike Nordel did most
of the hard work], it guarranteed that the new file differed in every
line from the original, and it had a different file name. So in the
IPL's eyes, was it a "new" piece of work?

I suspect that the only way to prove how correct I would be in making
such an assumption, would be with a Microsoft sized legal team and
lobbying slush fund :-).
