Fb 1.0 is the same as IB 6.n. The next version (whatever is intended to come
after v1.0) will be different.

There is - but the RC2 install does nothing to set it up. The guardian is
essential for deployments to NT4 sites where users may not have admin rights.
If IBServer fails it would be impossible to restart it without a call to the
help desk. Under Win2K and presumably XP Pro this is not an issue as the OS
has a built in service guardian.
