Hi Helen,
I know that gds32.dll is the client, but the Install-Readme-Text of
the Snapshoot-Installation is a little missunderstanding:
o Extract all the files from the archive to the current Firebird or
InterBase directory.
---> it includes gds32.dll then:
o In Control Panel
- make sure you have the INTERBASE environment variable defined as a
system variable (not user).
- Prefix your PATH statement with %INTERBASE%\bin
--> then:
o Rename %SYSTEM32%\gds32.dll to %SYSTEM32%\gds32.dll.orig
---> comes after installing, so i thought wrong ......
thank you and sorry
best regards
gerhard
