At the risk of repeating myself....

1. The work was outsourced to a 3rd party company, and relied on massive
specs for design and implentation (so much for RAD)
2. The code was written by a novice C programmer trying to learn Delphi
3. The project wasn't managed as well as it could have been.
4. After the code was delivered by the third party company, an internal
engineer sepnt 6 months on it just trying to get it to work, and look like
it was a valid tool. Its not a part of his life that he likes to remember.
4. Some parts of the source code are now missing.
5. We (ISC) paid far too much money for what was(n't) delivered.

Based on this, one of the things that the to be ISC open source spin off was
investigating was how fast and how far we could dump IBConsole and replace
it with another, better tool.
