First, which 'official' release?

Next, this is the first time that this problem has been noted with any
FB releases. Perhaps you could post an example of what you are trying
to do, so that we can review the problem and test it ourselves.

I will point out that all of the FB releases (except for the nightly
builds) must pass the testing suite prior to being released -- therefore
INSERT has been tested... perhaps there is something that you are doing
which is problematic.
