"Assuming that nothing catastrophic shows up, I'd like
to close and tag FB1 at the end of this week (Jan 25) and
ask the volunteers to start turning it into a release."

So.... ideally we would like to start creating FB 1.0 builds from the
beginning of next week, relase of the builds will take place as soon as is
practical after that.
