What's the error you're getting?
What I usally do before starting gfix, is:
set ISC_USER=SYSDBA
set ISC_PASSWORD=masterkey
and then start gfix.

Hi
I want to
1. login
2. change synchronous writes to ON
3. repair a corrupted database
using gfix
I have to admit command line tools are not my favorite ones.
Anyway, I read the gfix topic on OpGuide.pdf but still
I'm not able to communicate with gfix.
Could someone give me an example of login in at least?
TIA
