Do it all the time <g>

But it's to compensate for problems on Frame Relay. If my
remote links are quite for a number of minutes the
connection gets droped, or if a record access 'times out'
then I roolback and retry.

On better networks, we do not bother, but I am currently
looking at being able to backup and restore overnight,
without closing all the programs, they just get told to
wait, the mainenance is done, then they get told they can
carry on.
