Hi,
I think the only people who can help you are either at Borland or at
IBPhoenix.
This isn't free, but they have some advanced (and personal) tools to at
least try to fix this kinda stuff.
Martijn Tonies
InterBase Workbench - the developer tool for InterBase and Firebird
http://www.interbaseworkbench.com
Dear all,
we use IB 4.2. on Windows NT/SP5, NTFS Partition.
The database has 10 files, 2 GB each, except the last one, which has
exactly 4GB. I know the file size must not exceed 4GB, but now it
happened...
I now can't connect to the database, gfix and gbak report
Database file appears corrupt
page ... is of wrong type (expected 7, found 5)
Is anybody out there who knows how to fix this, or a tool that might
help me?
Any help greatly appreciated,
Michael
