Except IT ISN'T A STUPID QUESTION, the only stupid question, is
the one, that never gets asked. Your question was quite valid, and
a number of people gave you good answers, so you could resolve
the problem.

No appology to the group is needed, everybody here, started
exactly where you are. Heck I have been in the computer business
for nearly 20 years (it will be 20 years in August of this year), 12 of
that as a programmer in one form or another.

Nobody said you were stupid, you're inexperienced about this stuff
and that simply means you don't know enough about it yet.
Setting up and running a database is not an easy or simple
process, although IB/FB make it about as easy as they could.

You have learned to use the best tool we have available, someone
else with more experience. 99.99999% of all problems are
something, someone else has run into before. So posting a
question here, is 99.99999% guaranteed to get you a fix, a work
around, or at the very least co-misuration. So get ready, dig in,
and when things don't go according to plan, post a question or two,
and keep learning and keep growing.
