Also, based on a brievity of the code, when it comes to comnents, that I
have seen so far -- You'll have balls of fun! ;-)))
FYI, the suggestion was made that you'd/Firebird would be better off
starting from scratch (define the problem, develop a functional spec...)
then trying to work with the existing code.
There are a number of code modules which are ancient artifacts -- the
code/calls are IFDEFed out of the build but the code still exists. WAL
is one of those modules.
