will be watching this and can say whether he wants preview copies to be
available for testing.

I have a new version (that IMHO) tests systematically for all possibilities
of NULL, so I will prefer to make it available the next week. I've not
committed the new source file to CVS because I wanted to commit it together
with a fix to the DSQL parser, but I'm still waiting for Mark to test those
changes.
