AFFAIK, the auto index will still be created. The change (I believe) is that you will be able to disable the index (= set inactive).

Where does "it" say that it is already implemented? I thought it was still in testing...

You could test whether it's implemented by searching for the name of the index (or look it up in IB_SQL) and trying to set it inactive...as I don't use foreign keys at all, I'd appreciate your posting back (I'm writing the release notes).
