In fact with Red Hat 6.2, you won't *ever* be able to use the 64bit I/O
support.
Both the OS and the filing systems don't support for large files.
(I think the minimum version for 64bit support is Red Hat 7.1 and
Mandrake 8.0, don't know about the other flavors)
