there is a huge selection of alternative tools.
Personally, I find that a combination of IB_SQL and the command line
tools suits all my needs.
For more desktop related GUIs, I can think of Marathon, InterBase
Workbench, QuickDesk, IBAdmin, IBAccess, in no particular order.
I have abandoned IBConsole at first sight, and never had a regret.
