Mike,
Have a look on the IBPhoenix site for the IBAffinity program - this will
allow you to set the processor affinity, even when running as a service.
By the way, Firebird v1.0 Beta 3, will have support for a new IBConfig
option to allow you to set the processor affinity mask.
