Mike,

Unfortunately, you have run into a problem which has only really come
into play -- sort/temp files larger than 2GB in size. But there is a
workaround.

You need to look in the Operations guide, under Configuration
settings... You need to define multiple TMP_DIRECTORY entries in the
IBConfig file, each limited to 2Gb in size. Each TMP_DIRECTORY entry
needs to be unique so you'll have to create individual directories --
not a onerous task.
