As far as I know, there are no "reported" problems like this. Do you have
check constraints defined for the field and if so what are they and how is
the trigger defined? This type of error would "generally" occur if the
trigger is not satisfying the field's constraints and is therefore not
setting the field value.

I am currently using IBX Components 4.52

I have a problem with TIBDataSet Component especially the
GeneratorField property. GeneratorField gives the possibility to
assign a generator to a field of a table.
I get following error on "Post": Validation error for column ID,
value "***null***". On New Record and On Post give the same behaviour.

What is wrong here ? Is there any better documentation about IBX than
the one on Borland's site ?
