Thanks for the support - we changed to the May snapshot firebird build
yesterday (fb_cs-linux-i386-Snapshot-0.9.5.154.tar.gz) and the problems
with PConnect seem to have gone away! so i would guess there is a
bug/feature somewhere in the earlier release that has since beed fixed
