Cagatay,
It's actualy very simple.
Interbase communicates using TCP port 3050. so as long as you have that
port open through your firewall, then your users (or anybody else for
that matter) can simply connect to a database using the standard
"server:drive:path\database.gdb" connect string.
Remember that the "server:" value either needs to be available via DNS
or you will need to create an entry in the local HOSTS. file.
By the way, if you run *nix you will need to check your network settings
to ensure that outside traffic will be accepted.
